About Chrystle and Connection Blog
Hi, my name is Chrystle. I am a born again, spirit filled, baptized woman of God. Being a Christian does not mean perfect...I am still human, I make mistakes, I need to ask Jesus for forgiveness daily. I believe in the mighty working power of God...believe prayer changes things...a woman of faith...one with great hope...believe the Bible is the inspired word of God. I am just the vessel that was obedient to create Connection Blog. Connection Blog is all for God's glory!
I am the founder of "Home Connection," a ministry for college students. My friends say I am an encourager and always smiling. But, don't let that fool you. I have gone through test and trials beginning the day I was born...But, I trust in Jesus...my hope is in Jesus...I rest in Jesus! My favorite scripture is Psalm 27:1 ~ "The Lord is my Light and my Salvation- whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life- of whom shall I be afraid?"
As I write this I find myself in the midst of a distractful season smack dab in the middle of Covid-19. So why this blog???
At the start of Covid-19 my dear friend went through a traumatic experience. At a time when a hug could have provided comfort...or dropping off a care package would help her to feel love...or a walk through the park together to distract her weary mind would have been beneficial to the healing process I was left to comfort her through text and social media. One day as we were talking I said to her, "find comfort in knowing people you don't even know are praying for you because God placed you on their hearts because you are on His." Before I could even think about what I had just said the Holy Spirit prompted this blog idea. At a time when relationships, connection, and community are so needed we are in a place where we need to stay isolated for the well being of others. As a Christian this is the opposite of the Christian walk. God created us to be in relationship, to be in fellowship, and to be a container of His light and love to spread to all we come in contact with.
This would be how we can connect with one another! Not just me with my friends and family, but with my neighbors and their friends and family and their friends and family across the world. Prayer knows no distance. Hope can be found through an encouraging word or prayer from a complete stranger. As you check in I will be writing, posting pics, scriptures, etc of whatever God places on my heart to share. Whether you are a life long believer, new in the Lord, or seeking faith the Lord knows what you need when you need it! His word is always on time!
I pray you will be edified, blessed, and filled with joy and peace each time you visit! I am praying for you! Know you are loved!
